Earlier this year I recovered a collection of old Boy Scouts patches. The Scouts of America was founded in 1910, and today is one of the biggest youth organizations in the world. I recall being a boy scout as a kid and working hard to earn patches to get them sewn onto my sash.
I was lucky enough to find a bunch of these rare Boy Scouts patches, mainly from the 1960’s but some date as late as the early 1990’s. They are in mint condition despite the fact that some were previously worn on a young boys sash decades ago. Over half a century ago, some kid was working hard to earn the badge that we now proudly incorporate into Vintage Instincts. The history behind each patch may never be fully recovered, but the story behind each is definitely unique.
Some of these patches are still available, and we can sew them on to snapbacks, sweaters, or toques. We can also do custom orders. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for any order inquiry.
